Walk and Talk

Hello, my name is Bev

I am from Carrum Downs.

I joined Kindred clubhouse originally to be a support for my son. We heard about the clubhouse and how it would be very beneficial for him. Since coming to the clubhouse I started meeting new people and joining in the cooking. It helped my son and I to build good friendships and feel supported by a good community.

I’m always happy to talk about sewing, making quilts, knitting and about my chihuahua Kiwi.

I’m available to talk Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays mostly.

I am always happy to talk about motorbike riding, match work and electric bikes.

I’m available to talk on Thursdays and Fridays.

comfortable about my mental health and made me feel less alone in my own anxieties. The community is so friendly and understanding.

I’m always happy to talk about my grandchildren, movies, magazines and spirituality.

I’m available to talk on Fridays.

Hello, my name is Sarah

I am from Frankston

I joined Kindred five years ago when I first came to Frankston.

I didn’t have any supports in place when I came across Kindred Clubhouse, so it was great to connect with others and especially to meet others struggling with their own issues and mental health problems.

I finally found a place where I fit in.

I’m always happy to talk about many things including animals, sports and music.

I’m available to talk on Wednesday’s and a Thursday’s
