Stefanie Poole

Stefanie is an Australian residing, American born, energetic, multi-passionate individual. Stefanie’s desire to work in the mental health and substance abuse field was a result of her father’s death, due to alcohol dependence and depression when she was a teenager. This motivated her to study psychology and earn a Bachelor of Science in Counselling Psychology and a Master of Science in Mental Health Counselling with a Forensic Services concentration. Stefanie has experience working in a variety of clinical and community psychiatric settings most recently as a Dual Diagnosis (mental health and substance use) Practitioner-Project Worker for a community health centre in Melbourne. Stefanie currently runs her own private counselling and coaching practice to support women and their families during pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

Stefanie’s vision for Kindred Clubhouse grew out of her frustration with the gap in community mental health services and the belief that all individuals should have the opportunity to realise their purpose and reach their full potential. Stefanie brings her personal experience, passion and leadership skills to her board position. She is excited to see the vision of Kindred Clubhouse come to life.
